COVID-19 AND LEVEL 2 UPDATE:

Retail Areas:

Retail areas will be open for all supplies at all three clinics, operating on a “one in/one out” system, maintaining two metre separation between people.

Maunu Road: Max 3 clients in at once

Onerahi/Hikurangi: Max 2 clients in at once

Our phone order/drive through pickups will continue to operate from the Maunu Road clinic, but only during our 2pm-3pm pickup slot from now on.

There will be no drive-through pickups on Sundays (as the clinic and retail areas will be open).

With the retail areas of all clinics now open, Hikurangi and Onerahi will not have specified pick-up times.

Consultations:

We are now able to do these in clinic for all conditions.

Waiting areas have been separated from retail areas. The waiting areas are ONLY for people and pets with pre-booked appointments. On arrival, please leave your pet in the car and come in and let us know you are there.

Please leave your pets in the car until you are called in to the clinic – this will be by text if you have a mobile phone.

To avoid close contact in consulting rooms, there will be a nurse with each Vet to hold your pet. We would prefer only your pet in the consulting room (held by a nurse), for routine things like vaccinations. We will need you to be present in the consulting room if we need to talk to you about other issues.

If you are required in the consulting room, we will maintain a one metre separation between you and our staff. You will be provided with a disinfected face shield to wear and staff with gloves, masks and face shields as appropriate. All contact surfaces will be disinfected between clients.

Surgery Admissions:

It is important that you maintain two metre separation from others during the Admission process.

Maunu Road: These will be done via the roller door on the right hand side of our building, to avoid congestion at the front counter.

Please leave your pet in the car and push the buzzer to the left of the roller door.

A nurse will come out and complete the admission formalities before taking your pet through to the hospital.

Onerahi and Hikurangi: Admissions will be done via the front counter, as usual, between 8.00am and 8.30am.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
