Annie comes from a small city nestled in the Appalachian Mountains at the southern end of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The spirit of travel has always called to her and led her to completing her degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2006. From she followed the call of the ocean and the lure of the sun, practicing all around the world, experiencing a wide range of companion animal medicine. She started in Australia for 4 years before joining the US Army Veterinary Corps to serve 3 overseas tours (Germany, Deployment to the Middle East (OEF), and Guam). Subsequently she has worked in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, and now in New Zealand. When not at work, she will most likely be on the water, or under the water scuba diving.
