LARGE ANIMAL-Mixed VETERINARIAN
Northland Veterinary Group is a multi-clinic environment that services the whole of the greater Whangarei district. We have a team of experienced Veterinarians who are passionate about giving the best animal care and outstanding service to clients.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Large Animal Veterinarian to join our well established, Best Practice Accredited practice in Maunu Whangarei. You must be motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to develop dairy skills and be able to build great relationships with our farm clients and our team members. We will consider a new graduate with strong dairy interests.
Applicants with an interest in Companion Animal work, wishing to pursue a Mixed Practitioner role are also invited to apply for this position.
This is a full time position, however we would also look at part time offering a varied and interesting case load, with approximately 1:4 afterhours roster (PA only) with Thurs-Fri off after a weekend worked. The practice is well equipped including digital x-ray, IDDEX and ultrasound capability. We value CPD and will support attendance at CPD that is relevant to the needs of the practice.
The position involves predominantly dairy, with some beef, lifestyle, and alpaca and basic equine work
Salary to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
